How to Know When to Potty Train Your Baby

When it comes to toilet training a child, there are several different clues, depending on the child, to know when to potty train. Most children as early as 6 to 8 months old will pull at their diaper, cry, or even tell you they are wet or dirty. That alone is a big clue to knowing that your child is ready. There is a better way than these clues to knowing when to start toilet training. It is the Infant Potty Training method. This is when you start to potty train as early as 2 or 3 months old (for some even earlier). Since we are so conditioned to waiting until they are toddlers, it is not even thought of to train them basically right from birth. Why not? They are adapting to their surroundings at that time. Why no go ahead and give them a healthier start and potty train in the infant phase of life.
Infants will even let you know when to potty train them. It is just a simple matter of paying attention to their actions and reactions. Sometimes, when the baby is crying even after being fed, held, and changed, it means they are having the urge to eliminate. It is really just a matter of watching the baby’s routine. For example, after they have had a nap, they will probably wet or soil their diaper. That is a good time to catch them and put them on a potty chair. That will help them adapt to the potty chair, and understand the urge better. It is also a better, less frustrating time to potty train.
Toilet training is a process that requires patience on the part of the parent. You will know when to potty train your baby. It has been shown and reported by others in other countries and those who have started the infant method of potty training, that it is much less stressful, and in the end, the baby is potty trained with little hassle. Many babies that have been potty trained using the Infant Potty Training method are fully trained by the time they are 12 months old. This does vary as every child is unique and different. Healthier, less stressful, easier, and better for all concerned, the early potty training method is a great choice.
